5 Dead Solid Ways to Promote Affiliate Network Products and Make Big Cash

If you are new to network marketing, you understand that it takes time to build up a residual income.  MLM is not an over night success.  And many will fail at network marketing for one reason.  They run out of money trying to build their business.

Let me show you today how you can promote affiliate network products, and make money while you are building your network marketing business.    This is going to give you multiple streams of income, while you build and wait for your mlm residual business to take off.

Affiliate network products are valuable content others have created that you can promote and earn a commission.  Usually the commission is 60% or higher.  So if you are promoting a $100 product you can pickup an extra $60 just by referring others to that product.    Cool huh?

I will give you my 5 dead solid ways to use the Internet and promote these affiliate network products.    These do take action, and work on your part, so don’t think they will happen magically.     Put the time in and you will see great results.

1.  Creating Valuable Articles

Every product that you will be promoting is going to be solving some kind of problem others have.  Stuff like, I need more traffic, or I want to be better at copyright.    You will take that same problem and write a solution to it inside an article.

Your article should address the problem and then give the solution.   Once you have completed the article you will add in a link to the affiliate product at the end.     Talk about how they need to purchase this product to fully understand the system to solve their problems.   This affiliate link will be connected to your account, and you will get credit for each sale.

Take that same article and post it on your blog.  Post it onto article directories.  And post it to other free blogging platforms.    Get that problem solving article out to as many places as you can.

2.   Promote your affiliate network products on forums.

Do a search for forums that will relate to the product you are promoting.    Forums are usually filled with people asking questions.  And most are problems they are having and need solutions.   You can be the hero and give them the solution.   Respond to each of the post with some valuable content they can use to help them.   Over time you will become the go to person when anyone needs help.   Just make sure the forum is targeted for your niche.  If you are promoting network marketing products then hang out on mlm forums.

Add in your affiliate network products link inside your signature.  Each forum will let you place a link in the signature of your account.  Then each time you post, your affiliate network product link will be at the bottom.

3.  Comment on other blogs

Do a search and find other blog posts people have written about.    Then look to see how many comments are on that blog post.  If you see a lot, then jump in and add your comment.   If others are commenting then you know its a popular post.

Write a short comment solving some sort of problem.  Then ad in your affiliate network products link in the url field of the comment box.

4.  Send out emails

If you are building a list of emails then drop your article you wrote to this list.   Your email list of people will be looking for a solution to some problem.  Your article might just be the answer they are looking for.    Then at the bottom of the email, post your affiliate network link.

5.  Promote using hubpages

Hubpages are considered a mini website without all the money and programming hassles.   You can set up an account and write a review of the product your promoting.   Hubpages get indexed, and traffic flows in fast because google loves these pages.    If your product review is good then people will want to click on your affiliate network product link to get more information.

3. Tell a story.

This is the last step in your ad creation and its the most important. You have to get their attention with your picture. Your headline got their interest. The story is now going to hit their desire.

Facts Tell and Stories Sell.

A great story is going to talk about anyone else other than you. Never tell a story about you coming from you. “I’m Tyler and I used to be broke and now I’m rich with this simple system.”

10 Down and Dirty Ways to Get More Website Traffic With Video Marketing

I spend much of my time writing articles and blog post.   I found over the years that if you take that same article and turn it into a video you reach a huge untapped market.

We live in the TV age, with many used to sitting in front of the tube for hours.   It makes perfect sense that we need to market to that group of TV couch potatoes.  Video marketing is how you can reach millions and have very little competition.Here are 10 ways to get more traffic to your website using video marketing.

#1.  Find a smoking hot topic.

Do a search on google trends and see what is hot.  Google will give you stats on what people are searching for the most, each day, week, or month.   Find a hot topic so when people search youtube they will see your video first.

#2.  Find a good keyword

Search on google for term keyword.  You will see a link to google’s keyword tool.  Search your main topic and see what list of keywords come up.   Try and find a few keywords that have a high volume of searches with low competition.

#3.  Think of a great theme.

Your video should have a theme it can build on.  Here are examples,  mystery, celebrity, business, work at home.  These are the main themes you want to project in your video.

#4. Write an article

Write an article about your keyword.  Put on a notepad 500-600 words that will be your script for the video.  Your article can also be used to post on your blog or article directories.

#5 Creating the Video

When creating your video you have 2 options.  One is to use a screen capture software like, Camtasia, or Screen flow.  These 2 programs will make a video of what you do on your computer screen.   Second you can sit down in front of the computer.   Either way you will take the article you wrote and just read it.   I like to read it from my memory and not directly off the script.   When you read directly from the script it does not sound natural.

#6.  Attention grabbing headline

Your keyword needs to be inside your headline and a benefit.   Pull your video marketers into your video with your headline.  Tell them exactly what they get by watching your video.

#7 Call to action description.

Your keyword also needs to be inside your description.  But before any text, add in a link to your website.  This is the call to action, telling people to click on the link to get more information.

#8 Keyword in the tag fields

When you searched for keywords, I asked you to pull out a few.  Your tag lines should be the place to add in all these keywords.   4-5 keywords that are related to the main keyword, will go in as tags.  This will give you more chances of people finding your video when they search.

#9 Distribute your video

Mass distribute your video using a website called tube mogul.  This is a place that will distribute your video to 20 other video marketing websites.   Basically 20 other sites just like youtube.

#10 Market you videos

The Lazy Man’s Way To Free Website Traffic To Your MLM Blog

When your new to mlm your first step is to setup a blog.  This blog will be your place to collect leads you can follow up with.   Your mlm blog will be the central hub for all your communications.  Articles, videos, and blog posts will all take place on your centralized mlm blog.

After your blog is setup, the next step is to start generating traffic.   You have 2 options for traffic, paid traffic or free traffic.

Paid traffic is purchasing ad spots on google, msn, yahoo for payperclick ads.  Payperview will give you ads that popup on different websites, when users have the a toolbar installed.  Banners can be placed on websites using a banner placement ad campaign.   These are just a few of the paid ad strategies.   With paid ads they will be expensive, but very fast traffic.   I usually do not recommend paid traffic.  If you do not know what your doing, you could burn through a ton of money with no results.

Free traffic is what I recommend to all new people.  This will take more time to build up, but will be a better long term strategy.    There are many free traffic strategies and I only focus on one.  SEO or search engine optimization.

If you can get ranked for a particular keyword, and be in the top 10, your on your way to massive amounts of traffic.    Getting ranked can be a challenge for some.  Here is the right formula to ranking high in the search engines.   Great content + banklink = high ranking.

Great content will consist of articles you write, videos you create, and “how to” post you submit to your blog.   Articles will be posted on your blog and then posted on the top article directories.   I usually will only post to the top 3 directories.   These get the most traffic and rank well before any other directory.   Each article you post on the directories must have a link back to your main mlm blog.   This gives you instant traffic, and gives you a backlink.

Videos are also great content and should be a part of your strategies.    The videos can be an extension of the article you wrote.   After you get done writing and submitting your article, open up your camera and talk about it.   Either sit in front of the camera or do a screen capture of your computer.    Many people will not want to sit and read your article.   But they many want to watch your video.   Underneath your video will be the description.  Place a link back to your mlm blog.   This is going to give you instant traffic, and shows the search engines another piece of content they can index.

After you complete all your great content creation, it’s time for banklinks.    Backlinks are the only way a search engine will determine if your site is popular or not.   Google will give your website a rank based on how many other people are linking into your site.   Now you could spend all day trying to find ways to place your link on other sites, or you could automate it.

If you want to automate it then setup an account with onlywire.    This is a free service that will let you syndicate your new content to over 30 websites.   Once you post content on your blog this service will then automatically post your link to these 30 sites.      What this will do is give you 30 backlinks to your mlm blog that the search engines can index.   The more backlinks you can get the better your site will rank.

These Must Be Some Of the Best Kept MLM Marketing Secrets In The World

I drive by my neighbors house each day and notice this big tree that is over growing.   It’s overgrowing so bad that all the branches are in the street.     Then one morning I drive by and see the tree is totally trimmed down.    I had seen my neighbor out there working on that tree, by himself, so I was a little shocked to see it all complete.

There is a tree in my yard that is overgrowing and needs to be trimmed.   Today is Saturday and I feel I need to trim my tree down.  So I head over to my neighbors house to see his secret to getting his tree all nice and trim.

Who Else Wants More Traffic To Their Website Using Facebook Fanpages?

Today my car was having a hard time starting.  I figured out that I needed a new battery.    So I get in my car and start driving south on the highway.   Then get off on one of the main streets.   As I travel down this street I just know exactly were to go.  Advanced auto parts is the only place I know to get a new battery for my car.

There are other places I could have gone and picked up a battery like walmart.     And my guess is walmart would have a cheaper battery and it’s closer.  But when we think of auto parts we go directly to Advanced auto parts.

I got to thinking, why would I go out of my way to a place that is farther, and the product may be a bit more in price?  The only reason is branding.  Advanced auto parts has branded them selves as the only place to get parts for your car.   Walmart has branded themselves different.   Walmart is not in the auto parts business, even though they do have auto parts.

Facebook fanpages are going be your branding.   Facebook is a place that has over 300 million active users.    That is a ton of people and your best option to brand yourself online.

Since we are in the network marketing industry we can brand ourselves with a Facebook Fanpage.  And I want to give you a few tips that will help you get it started the right way.   If your not sure how to set one up, just head over to /pages/,  and then create your own fanpage.  It’s very simple.

When creating your fanpage use the “public figure” category.   Use your name as the title of your fanpage.  Why your name?  Because people will join your network marketing opportunity because of the value you create for others.     Just stay away from the titles like “network marketing coach”  or “mlm mentor”.  Those titles just look like your going to sell someone something.    Your name will give people the sense of trust with you.

After your page is setup its time to make a nice banner on the left.     Create a banner with your face and a little more about you.    Add in your website link that people will be able to just type in the browser window to connect with you.      Keep the banner simple,  always remember your trying to get others to trust and like you.    Since your not the same rookie salesmen like everyone else, your going to attract more fans to  your page.

The name of the game is to get people to hit the “like” button.   As you get more and more likes the number will go up.  This shows to others social proof.   If you have 10,000 fans others will join just because of that high number.    And the only way to get that many fans, is to always be leading with value.

Now that we have the fanpage up and running its time to start posting and be active.   Every day you should post something of value for others.   Your goal is to get new people and others to return to your page.    Facebook fanpage is not about selling your products or services.  It’s only a place to connect with others and build up people that will want to learn more about what you have to offer.    Always be sending people to your blog or lead capture page.     Once your fanpage is huge with a ton of “likes”  you will see a big increase in the traffic to your website.
