OH, “how scary” you say.
I know, I was there once. But let me see if I can ease your fear a bit.
If you have been living under rock for the past 4 years you may have missed the video explosion on the Internet. Website like YouTube have changed the way we do business online.
Remember the old days of building your Network Marketing business? Getting as many people you know into a room and then presenting them your opportunity? Well no more, you can create a video and then present it online to millions. Your videos can be working for you 24/7, even on holidays.
But hold up there for second. Before you run off and create your first opportunity video there is a right way and wrong way to Video Marketing.
I see so many people on YouTube making videos about how great their products are, or how great their compensation plan is. Blah, Blah, Blah, I’m falling a sleep just writing about it.
No, No. People are not searching YouTube for “What is the best products”. They are searching for “How do I do stuff”, “How do I build my business with Videos”. These are the things people are looking for. And its your job to answer their questions.
Video marketing the right way is about leading with value. Forget about the opportunity video you created. Put that on the back burner. Create videos that solve problems. Become a teacher and not a salesman. You create powerful, problem solving videos, then place them on YouTube. In the description of the video ad in your link to your website for more information. When someone clicks on your website have a lead capture page there to collect a name and email. In the email you can then present your opportunity video.
The emails you send out daily are going to be your bridge to gain a relationship with the new prospect. And this is the main reason people fail at video marketing is because they don’t build a relationship with anyone.
When I first learned about the power of video marketing, the first thing that came into my mind was the fear of talking to the camera. Yikes!!! “You mean I have to put my face in the camera?” My biggest fear. But I figured just dive into it and focus on creating value for others. When you become yourself, and want to help others, making a videos with your face on it will become very easy.
Ok, there are some that just can’t muster up the thought of talking to the camera. And I have a solution for you. Get a program called Camtasia, or Screenflow. Both of the these programs will build a video of your computer screen.
Create a PowerPoint presentation to your target market with a huge amount of value. This is something your audience will be able to use and implement to better their business. Just turn on the screen capture program, talk into your headset, and move through each PowerPoint.
See that wasn’t so bad. You now are creating a very high valued video and your face is not on there. Your now a video marketing wizard!
