The title is a mouth full, I know. What I was trying to explain in my title is this.
The people you want to recruit into your MLM business are the ones that are the hardest to recruit. Are you still lost? Recruiting busy people are the hardest, but the best recruits for your MLM business.
Doctors, lawyers, business owners. These are the people that have no time but are the best for your business. But they can be difficult to talk to, and get them interested in your opportunity. But when they see the light. Well you have just sponsored a rock star.
Who are the easiest to sponsor into your mlm business? Usually your friends or other people working 9-5 job. Yes they work all day, but they have so much free time when they are done. Weekends of, time after work. Your friends who have regular jobs are so easy to recruit into your business. All you have to do is dangle a few testimonials or checks in front of them and they are in. People with free time are not the ones you want. They will tend to be in the job mentality, and will have no business work ethics.
Busy people are your target. They will understand hard work, and what it takes to be successful.
One of my best friends is a doctor. She has 6000 patients, and in an 8 hour shift, will see 40. She is very busy and is always stressed out with the hours she puts in. I have another friend who owns 4 tire discount stores and never has free time. Both of my friends have kids and would love to spend more time with them.
Getting busy people to take a look at your opportunity will be difficult, unless you find their hot button. Most of the new people who get involved with MLM will jump right in to the product and compensation plan. They will just throw up all over busy people with stuff they don’t care about.
Mike Dillard says it best. “People don’t buy the drill, they want the hole the drill gives them” Same is true with MLM. People will not join because of the products, they join for what the opportunity will give them. Give them more time, money, and more freedom. Remember this when you approach your next person who is to busy to recruit.
Finding the hot button will be your secret weapon to recruit all the hardest to recruit people. My friend the doctor, her hot button is she wants to spend more time with her kids. I would never talk to her about having more money. Showing her how to have more time, is how I would approach my friend.
Asking question of a potential recruit is how your going to find the hot button. Be casual with people, get to know them. Be interested in them, and seek out the problems they are having.
Busy people who are hard to recruit always want more time. Show them how your opportunity will give them more time. Say things like “If I can show you a way to have more time with your kids would you be interested?” Who is going to say no. “Would you be open to looking at an opportunity that will give you more time, without interfering with what you are currently doing?”
But before you can word your question your going to need to ask the question to find out the main hot buttons.
